This project started with a study to assess this over one hundred year old facilities’ infrastructure and it’s ability to meet the member’s needs now and into the future. The Club management also wanted to address operational efficiency and reduce the amount of maintenance required. After the study the project moved into a design process that whittled down the studies recommendations and the Club Management’s wish list into a program with a definite budget approved by the membership. In the end the project included a complete upgrade to the buildings heating and electrical systems and renovations to the Locker Rooms, Grille, Offices and Dining Room. Lighting was completely redone throughout the facility. The exterior pool was completely renovated with new equipment and lighting and it’s grounding system was brought up to current codes and standards.

The project received and AGC Build CT and an ABC Excellence in Construction project Award.
