Aztech Engineers, Inc. is a mid-sized engineering firm founded in 1995 and located in Hartford, Connecticut. The firm specializes in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, photovoltaic, solar-thermal and geo-thermal engineering consultation, design, and analysis for the built environment.
Aztech Engineers, Inc. was founded with a commitment to personal service, quality engineering and a philosophy of gaining thorough system and project comprehension to provide the correct solutions for each customer. We believe in thorough site survey and investigation for every project that incorporates an existing building.
Dean H. Azzam is the principal and founder of Aztech Engineers, Inc. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in facility design, analysis and construction and has been a Licensed Engineer in the state of Connecticut for since 1990.
Aztech Engineers, Inc. makes extensive use of engineering equipment and productivity tools such as cost analysis software, planning software, AutoCAD and Revit. MEP. The firm also utilizes specification writing software such as SpecLink and SpecsIntact. We implement a wide array of measuring instruments to enhance our field work including sound meters, light meters, infrared thermometers and multi-meters.
A staff member that specializes in each discipline that a job may require is assigned to that project, while Mr. Azzam typically divides his time between the mechanical and electrical disciplines. Our well-trained staff works together efficiently as a team to produce significant results in short time periods.
Aztech Engineers has provided engineering services to all market sectors including private, institutional, corporate, municipal, state and federal; and all building types including educational, offices, retail establishments, housing, food services, houses of worship, industrial, and health care facilities.
Aztech Engineers, as a member of the USGBC with Dean Azzam as the LEED Accredited Professional on staff, is a leader in "Green" standards in its designs. We have completed projects using groundbreaking energy conservation systems such as some of the larger geothermal heat pump and photovoltaic systems in the area.
